Arts Mid-Hudson administers New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) funding in Dutchess, Orange and Ulster Counties,with annual competitive grants awarded to artists, schools, community groups, and arts organizations. Funding also is available through Dutchess County Partners in the Arts, and Ulster County Cultural Services and Promotion Fund.

DECENTRALIZATION GRANT PROGRAM
Arts and Cultural Projects in Dutchess, Orange, and Ulster Counties
Project Grants – support arts and cultural activities that may include, but are not limited to: exhibitions, workshops, performances, festivals, concerts, plays, temporary installations, screenings or readings.
The Individual Artist Commission – supports the creation of new work by an individual artist, that engages a particular community in the artist’s creative process.
Arts Learning Grant – supports sequential, skill-based workshop series focused on the arts and artistic process. NEW –Projects can take place in-school during the school day and/or in after-school and community-based settings for youth and/or senior learners.

Dutchess County Funds
Dutchess Partners in the Arts
Arts Mid-Hudson is requesting proposals that will establish partnerships for arts programming to enhance the Dutchess County region. We seek partners that have a history of achievement in the arts, good management and stable finances; and self-sustaining programs with the potential to make a measurable impact.
Arts Mid-Hudson is a nonprofit arts service organization founded in 1964, dedicated to strengthening and supporting artists and arts organizations in Dutchess County and the Mid-Hudson Valley region.
Who can submit a proposal?
An applicant organization must be a registered non-profit 501(c)(3), and either demonstrate through its mission or programming a commitment to provide excellent arts and/or cultural events in Dutchess County, or serve as a fiscal sponsor for an organization that meets these criteria.
Arts Mid-Hudson is interested in partnering with institutions that contribute to creating a lively arts scene in Dutchess County, including proposals for arts exhibitions, music concerts, film series, live theater, unique performances and experiential activities for visitors and residents.
Proposals will be in the form of a Scope of Services, and shall include a detailed description of the program(s), budget, expected impact, anticipated audience served and marketing and promotion plans. Contracts will be awarded on information provided and the ability of the organization to fulfill the contract.

Ulster County Funds
Ulster County Cultural Services and Promotion Fund
The Ulster County Cultural Services & Promotion Fund (UCCSPF) is a funding resource dedicated to maintaining the artistic and cultural assets of Ulster County through capacity building, programmatic support, and strategic collaborations for the arts community with the purpose of promoting Ulster County through arts/cultural activities that add to the economy and quality of life for the residents of Ulster County. Financial resources for this program have been made available by the Ulster County Legislature. Established nonprofit arts organizations or artistic programs that have been in existence for more than three (3) years, have a record of successful programs, and are recognized in the community shall be eligible and encouraged to apply for funding.
Funds will support capacity building as well as programmatic support. Nonprofit arts organizations, as well as fiscally-sponsored arts events that meet the criteria in the full guidelines are eligible to apply.

Arts Mid-Hudson has offered a Fiscal Sponsorship program for individual artists and non-incorporated organizations or groups. This program is currently under evaluation and we are no longer accepting new applicants until the evaluation process has completed.
Current artists and groups under our Fiscal Sponsorship program continue to be served – donors can make contributions under the Ways to Support tab.
