Got a favorite wine glass? Let’s play! Bring your glass, a smile and your wildest imagination. We’ll be exploring the bar napkin, unleashing its potential as both a journal and creative playground.
Student homework: Practice doodling on anything and everything. Collect a bar napkin at each venue you might visit over the next month. Keep them pristine and bring with you. More will be provided.

About the Teaching Artist:
Holding an MFA in Illustration from Syracuse University, Roxie has worked as a fine artist and educator in the visual arts for 40+ years. Known for her unique approach to the etching process, Roxie became the recipient of two memorial awards in the 115th and 116th Annual NAWA Exhibitions in NYC. She has also been honored by inclusion in the Smithsonian Institute Archives of American Art for her greeting card design. Roxie’s recent work embodies the realm of mixed media and the abstract. She has exhibited in juried competitions nationally as well as in galleries of the Mid-Hudson Valley and Metropolitan area.
