+ Vets on Set: Film & Television Crew Training for Military Veterans - Stockade Works
Do you know a Hudson Valley Veteran that may be interested? Help us spread the word! Veterans already possess many of the qualities that make for a fantastic film & TV crew member, and this is one of the reasons why we have created a workshop specifically for Hudson Valley based military veterans!
This hands-on 3.5-day training, led by experienced industry professionals, will equip veterans with the skills needed to succeed in the dynamic and fast-paced realm of production and on-set operations. In partnership with the Hudson Valley National Center for Veteran Reintegration (HVNCVR), this immersive workshop will cover the fundamentals of the industry and on-set work. Applicants will learn the principles of working on set in departments such as camera, sound, grip, electric, art, and production. Building on this foundation, the training will culminate in a mock shoot, offering participants direct hands-on experience in various film departments guided by industry professionals. Upon completion of this training, graduates will become eligible for local film and tv job referrals.
