Workshop Description: Are you ready to create the best work of your life?

Let me be your accountability coach and help you manifest your next body of work, whether it’s one or two pieces for a show or a collection you are proud of for personal reasons. No matter what your goals are, let’s jump in, and begin.

Through weekly Zoom check-ins, I will check on your progress and help you plan the week ahead. Our small group of artists will make have a safe space for sharing your progress. There is an option to join a private Facebook page for more frequent feedback needs and sharing of exhibition announcements with current and past workshop participants.

Each week I will bring you tips and tricks to make the best use of your time and share inspirational artists and resources.

How it works: Meet every Tuesday evening log into Zoom at 7pm for six weeks.

Week one: Decide what it is you want to create. This is an opportunity to get excited, and begin the gathering materials, reference images, tools, and anything else you need to get started. It’s important to remember, though, that as you show up you may experience something completely different than what you have in mind. You can always shift and adjust your work as you go along.

We will discuss the importance of creating parameters to lend a cohesive feel to the whole endeavor. We will also make a calendar/map of the six weeks and fill in any existing obligations to visualize creative time and set a studio schedule.

Materials Needed: Participants provide your own art supplies. We will create a poster sized calendar on the first day.
