Winter RESIDENCY FOR Literary ARTISts January 26th - February 2nd 2026 THE HORTUS RESIDENCY PROGRAM IS OPEN TO ESTABLISHED AND EMERGING literary ARTISTS WHO ARE EXPLORING THEMES OF NATURE AND/OR THE HUMAN CONNECTION WITH NATURE. Applications must be submitted via email – Barnetteatvly@gmail.com Please use Winter Residency in the subject header. Use the link below for payment. Once payment is received, we will send you an email confirmation.
For the Submission: Please send in up to 20 pages of a manuscript, or published work; or for poets, send in 3-5 poems.
You may send links to your website, but that will not be used as part of the judging criteria.
Please include a cover letter with why/how the residency would help you further your art practice at this point in your career. Submissions due – Submissions due December 22nd

+ Teens Program Intern - Dia Beacon
Deadline: December 31, 2025
Working closely with Learning and Engagement’s program team and an artist educator during Dia Teens’ 2025 summer intensive, the Program Intern is a critical member of the program team, providing wide-ranging daily administrative and operational assistance while also directly supporting the teen cohort’s culture and community. Over the course of the summer, the Program Intern will engage with contemporary art and artists and develop a deep relationship with the Learning and Engagement department at Dia. Additional learning opportunities include engaging with family and community-based programs as well as participating in staff trainings, attending Dia lectures or events, and engaging with colleagues in the field of arts and museum education.

+ FY26 NYSCA - A.R.T./New York Creative Opportunity Fund
Deadline: January 20, 2026
The Creative Opportunity Fund provides general operating support grants of $2,000-$5,000 to small professional theatres with budgets under $500,000 working throughout New York State. Applicants to the Creative Opportunity Fund are NOT required to be members of A.R.T./New York. The Creative Opportunity Fund is a regrant of a New York State Council on the Arts program. A.R.T./New York regrants NYSCA funds, and all applicants and grantees will interact with A.R.T./New York as their grantmaker.
The grant aims to distribute flexible funding to support theatres throughout the state with capacity building and stabilization and to increase funding opportunities for theatres that have been left out of mainstream funding opportunities because of barriers associated with racial, economic, disability, and sexual identity and/or geographic location.
