+ Fall Residency for Visual Artists - Hortus Arboretum

Fall RESIDENCY FOR VISUAL ARTIStS October 27 - November 3 2025 THE HORTUS RESIDENCY PROGRAM IS OPEN TO ESTABLISHED AND EMERGING VISUAL ARTISTS WHO ARE EXPLORING THEMES OF NATURE AND/OR THE HUMAN CONNECTION WITH NATURE. Applications must be submitted via email – Barnetteatvly@gmail.com Please use Fall Residency in the subject header. Use the link below for payment. Once payment is received, we will send you an email confirmation.

For the Submission: Artists please send us 8 images of current work.

You may send links to your website, but that will not be used as part of the judging criteria. Please include a cover letter with why/how the residency would help you further your art practice at this point in your career. Submissions due – Submissions due September 15th 2025 **All artists will be notified by email of decisions – September 23rd, 2025

+ $4,500 Artist Grants | The Hopper Prize | Fall 2025

Deadline to Apply: November 11, 2025

The Hopper Prize is now accepting entries for their Fall 2025 artist grants.

For this open call, grant amounts have been increased to $4,500.

2 artists will each receive $4,500 and 4 artists will each receive $1,000.

In addition to grants, 30 artists will be selected for a shortlist, interviewed for their online journal, and receive promotion via their Instagram feed, currently reaching an audience over 150k.

This is an open call, all visual art media is eligible.

+ Teens Program Intern - Dia Beacon

Deadline: December 31, 2025

Working closely with Learning and Engagement’s program team and an artist educator during Dia Teens’ 2025 summer intensive, the Program Intern is a critical member of the program team, providing wide-ranging daily administrative and operational assistance while also directly supporting the teen cohort’s culture and community. Over the course of the summer, the Program Intern will engage with contemporary art and artists and develop a deep relationship with the Learning and Engagement department at Dia. Additional learning opportunities include engaging with family and community-based programs as well as participating in staff trainings, attending Dia lectures or events, and engaging with colleagues in the field of arts and museum education.
