Arts Mid-Hudson previously provided fiscal sponsorship to select community initiatives aligned with our mission. While we are not currently accepting new fiscal sponsorship projects, we continue to provide sponsorship and administrative oversight for a small number of legacy projects established through prior agreements.
ArtEast Open Studio Tours was created in 2006 by a small group of local artists with the support of Arts Mid-Hudson (formerly Dutchess County Arts Council), with the goal of bringing an awareness to the art being made “east of the Taconic.” Meeting regularly at TROUTBECK in Amenia, and other artist friendly locations, the group sought to create a new art event and the ArtEast Open Studio Tour was born. With wide support and appreciation, the event has continued ever since. Our Mission is to cultivate an artist community that enriches our towns and hamlets.
