Constitution Marathon Reading
Hosted by Ruth Danon and Mike Jurkovic

Wednesday, October 28 | 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Cornell Creative Arts Center
129 Cornell St, Kingston, NY

Participants will read the entire Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Americans speak proudly of the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights. But do we fully understand what these founding documents mean to a challenged democracy? Read and listen to the words with us. Ask questions. Discuss. Peacefully assemble. That is our right. These readings are a creative collaboration by Ruth Danon, Stephanie JT Russell, and Mike Jurkovic. Ruth Danon is the current Dutchess County Poet Laureate & Mike is the current Ulster County Poet Laureate.
