Join Ulster County Poet Laureate Mike Jurkovic as he celebrates the release of his new full-length poetry collection, Circling Planes. This event also introduces and celebrates Bushwhack Books, the Ulster County-based publisher bringing fresh voices to the literary scene.
The event is free and open to all, and recommended for audiences 18 and older.

Poetry Reading and Book Signing: Book Launch of “Geraniums in the Studio” by Dr. Lucia Cherciu + Open Mic

The poet Lucia Cherciu will read from her seventh book of poetry, “Geraniums in the Studio,” which has just been published by Broadstone Books. The event will be followed by an open mic. Lucia Cherciu will invite several poets to share their poems at open mic after the reading and will encourage some of her current and former students to read as well.
This is a free event that welcomes 18+.
