Workshop Description: What does it mean to create an event that is truly accessible? For tourism, arts and culture organizations, accessibility means creating welcoming experiences for guests of all abilities at every stage – from choosing a venue and offering accessible online registration to setting up the space and following up with surveys. Come learn practical ways to make your events more inclusive, hear from fellow industry professionals about their experiences, and discover helpful tips and resources you can put into practice. Whether you’re planning a festival, performance, tour, or community event, this session will help you create experiences where everyone feels welcome and able to participate.
